We were excited to see this limited-edition 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti at our install shop in Austin, TX. Not only is this is modern Ferrari, but its Tour de France Blue color means it’s one of only nine 488 Pista Piloti built. Our trained installers treated the rare supercar with a full-front ppf wrap using ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection film. This ppf package covers the hood, bumper, side mirrors, fenders, and headlamps—another desirable Italian supercar protected by XPEL.
The Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti is a special edition. How special? Well, only people involved in Ferrari racing programs are allowed to buy one. This car is also only available in four different colors. One detail that is identical on every 488 Pista Piloti is the number 51 decal. This detail is an homage to the No.51 race car driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado that won the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship. Under the hood, the Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti features a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8. It’s a stable that holds 710-horsepower and 568 lb.-ft of torque, moving a car that weighs less than 3,000 pounds. That is a guaranteed recipe for a memorable driving experience.
