In 2007, the Porsche 911 Turbo offered 473-hp and 502 lb.-ft of torque. This was also the year Porsche introduced a new four-wheel-drive system. In addition, the 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo was also lighter, thanks to aluminum parts. For example, the aluminum doors saved 31 pounds. The weight savings added up to 90-pounds lighter than the 996 Turbo.
