Not every vehicle that comes to our shop is new to PPF. For example, this 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 had previously been wrapped in paint protection film. However, it needed to be replaced before an upcoming track-day event. So, we treated the GT3 by removing its old, damaged film before treating the panels with a paint correction process. Afterward, we applied our self-healing ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection film. The last step was treating the entire vehicle and wheels with FUSION PLUS ™ ceramic coating.
In 2018, the Porsche 911 GT3 gained a 4.0-liter flat-six engine from the RS. The new engine provided the GT3 with 500-hp and 339 lb.-ft of torque. At the time, the 2018 GT3 tipped the scales at 3,116 pounds. As a result, this lightweight rear-engine sports car could reach a top speed of 198 mph.
